Recent reports from the Hawaii Department of Health found disparities between SGM and non-SGM communities, related to health risk behaviors (e.g., smoking, substance use); health and well-being issues (e.g., current health conditions, consumption of fruits and vegetables); and mental health challenges (e.g., feeling sad or hopeless, self-harm), among others.
